Most sites don't need
an app. Some do.

A product configurator, a client dashboard or a booking flow with live availability needs real interactivity — that's where React and Vue earn their place.

A marketing site usually doesn't. So we build content in Astro and add React or Vue only to the parts that move — the same component skills, a fraction of the JavaScript.

React or Vue — which should we use?

Both are excellent and both are MIT-licensed. React has the larger ecosystem and hiring pool; Vue is often quicker to learn and very tidy for smaller teams. If you already have one in house we use it, otherwise we recommend based on who will maintain the code.

Do I need a single-page app, or a normal website?

If most of your pages are content — services, articles, case studies — a fast Astro site with a few interactive components is better for speed and search. A full React or Vue app makes sense when users log in, manage data or work inside the interface.

Can React or Vue work inside an Astro website?

Yes. Astro can render React and Vue components as islands: the page stays plain, fast HTML and only the component that needs to be interactive loads its JavaScript. It is the best of both for marketing sites with a calculator, configurator or booking widget.

What about Next.js and Nuxt?

Next.js (for React) and Nuxt (for Vue) add server rendering and routing, which helps search engines and first-load speed in larger apps. We use them when an app also needs public, rankable pages.

Do we own the code?

Yes. You receive the full repository, documentation and deployment setup. React, Vue, Next.js and Nuxt are all open source under the MIT licence, so there are no licence fees.

How much does a React or Vue project cost?

It depends on scope — an interactive calculator inside your site and a full customer portal are very different builds. We quote from a written specification, so the scope is fixed first. Share your brief and we'll prepare a scope-based proposal within one working day.
