Food packaging has to do two jobs at once: stop someone in three seconds, and satisfy a regulator who is not in a hurry. We design packs that do both — snack pouches, staple bags, sauce jars, bakery boxes and spice cartons — with the declarations planned into the layout rather than squeezed in at artwork stage.

Snacks, staples and everyday formats
Namkeen pouches, rice and dal bags, atta packs, biscuit and papad wraps. This is the hardest shelf in the store — dozens of near-identical bags, most of them shouting. The work is deciding what to leave out so the one thing that matters survives at arm's length.
Jars, tins and wet formats
Sauces, preserves, pickles, honey and canned sweets. A jar sells on what you can see through it, so the label has to frame the product rather than hide it — and the back panel still has to carry a full nutrition and ingredient declaration without turning grey.
Sauces, spreads and cooking mediums
A sauce or spread is judged on appetite appeal before anything else, so the food photography carries more of the argument than the typography does. These packs also sit in a fridge or a hot kitchen for weeks, which rules out finishes that scuff and label stocks that lift at the edge.
Bakery and short-shelf-life
Cake boxes, pastry cartons and bread bags have a different problem: they get carried, not stacked. Structure matters as much as the print — a box that arrives crushed has already lost the repeat purchase.

How much does food packaging design cost?
It depends on scope — a single SKU label is a different job from a 40-SKU range with a shared architecture. You only pay for what is required, nothing more. Share your brief and we will prepare a scope-based proposal within one working day.
Do you handle FSSAI and Legal Metrology declarations?
Yes. Declaration blocks, net quantity, the veg/non-veg mark, FSSAI licence number and nutritional panel are planned into the layout from the first round, not bolted on before print. Getting this wrong means a reprint, and reprints cost more than design.
Can you design one pack or do you only take full ranges?
Either. A single SKU is a real project. That said, if you expect a second and third variant, say so up front — a system designed for one pack rarely stretches to five without being redrawn.
Do you supply print-ready artwork?
Yes — separations, spot colours, bleed and the substrate-specific adjustments your printer needs. We speak to your printer directly where that saves a round.
